How we research, write, and review everything on this blog.
Who writes this
Posts are written under the byline of a named author with a real bio and profile, currently InstantOwl founder Jim Breese. We do not publish anonymous or ghost-bylined content.
How we research
Before we write a post, we analyze what already ranks for the topic: the search intent, the questions people actually ask, and the structure of the best current answers. We write to genuinely serve that intent, not to game a keyword.
AI-assisted, human-reviewed
We use AI tools to help draft and organize, then a human reviews every post for accuracy, clarity, and voice before it publishes. AI does the tedious parts; a person stays in the loop on what matters and is accountable for what ships. That is the same principle InstantOwl is built on.
Accuracy and sources
We cite sources for factual claims and link to primary references where it helps. We do not invent statistics. When something is uncertain, we say so rather than state it as fact. If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the post's date.
Honesty about our own product
InstantOwl is our product, and we mention it when it is genuinely relevant. When we compare tools, we aim to be fair to alternatives and clear about our own bias. We would rather be useful than salesy.
Corrections
Found an error or have a suggestion? Reach out and we will review it. Posts show a "last updated" date whenever we make a meaningful change.
Stop losing good ideas.
